You've got the science part of it down, but need to also think about the art of it. The Nuremburg Rallies, the parades, the speeches, the gatherings, the uniforms, the romantic pursuit of conquest--all of it puts one (or at least me) in a state of awe, for Hitler's National Socialist movement was a beautiful and impressive spectacle, which was what was used to cover its more sinister and degenerate underlying components.
