You are mistaken in that you label Kierkegaard’s approach to knowledge through experience is an empirical ordeal. No, no. When Kierkegaard (and the author of this article) talk about experiences and knowledge, they are talking about personal experiences, one who experiences the realities of life through his subjective being (as such a being possesses the true authenticity of an individual) and therefore develops self-knowledge.
It is all about experience through living, not living through experience.
It is about self-knowledge, not knowledge “et abstracte.”
It is about life itself, not observations of life itself.
