I do have ancestors of both German and English descent, though I myself am not sure how far they would extend back to the period in which the Saxons invaded England. I am aware that not all peoples of European descent are Anglo-Saxons but I am mainly thinking Northern/Western European countries whose languages are of Germanic origins. However, I'm sure not even that may qualify in of itself and that alone.

As far as considering myself a Roman, I would probably not have in the past due to not knowing much about the ancient and medieval histories of Europe, and ignorantly assuming my Western European heritage above anything else. So, curious about the possibility of Roman heritage in which you have stricken (thank you), I might have to do a bit of looking.
