Wonderful article! And I could not agree more with what you're saying. Of the many things that is despairing in these times in terms of what all we're seeing on the world stage, Disney's disfigurement from being a cultural pedestal to now a corporate robot is a greatly dispiriting event. To watch this great dinosaur die such a slow, painful agony which will never seem to die, is beyond bearable. I can only hope one day for its resurrection....for that one movie that shouts: "the real Disney's back!"
