Well, what was refreshing about Donald Trump was his “America First” mentality. That is a phrase that not only made politics interesting but also refreshing. Perhaps a lot of American politicians feel that way and have mentioned it — but no one has said it louder than the Trumpster. It was refreshing to hear that phrase and to have someone to attempt to live up to its tenets. Flawed as he may be in certain regards, it is sad to not have someone else to take the Oval Office and make this phrase explicit. Trump had his faults but in addition to his charisma, he was one that was not part of the system — he was not a member of the swamp, and as Republican as that sounds (which I am not and whom I also detest as a political party), it is true.

But yay…we got Biden…we got Harris…we got Pelosi…the world’s finest genuine three dollar bill collection. They are bureaucrats — all of them, just like their Republican counterparts.

You say Biden’s politics is slow and boring. That is true. But you also forgot pathetic and incompetent. He is just another cog in the system and so to me, there’s nothing to be very joyous about. Trump had his flaws and indecencies alright — no argument there. But compared to all other politicians, before and after him, he possessed at times a Nietzschean “will to power” gusto.

Now, we have once more at stage our greatest symbol of mediocrity and weakness.
