To a degree, I do not doubt this story though I sometimes scrutinize some of the details because it is stories like these that, whether it be from the very beginning or overtime, are often greatly exacerbated to become more lore than anything else. Not denying that she was a murderer....but to the degree of her cruelty I cannot help but question, just as I do not doubt that Vlad III "The Impaler" was a murderer but in regards to the extreme sadism often recorded...I can't help but raise an eyebrow.
