Though I think you could have written this with a little bit more grace, I agree with a lot of what you have to say. This joke of which some people believe to be a modern social justice movement has divided us more than anything else...we are undoing all the hard work that has been done over the past few decades and for some who wanted so badly to be no longer looked at as a 'black' person but merely a person, well now, a lot of them only emphasize their blackness to the point to where that is all I see. It's a shame, really.
