This is a very interesting perspective. I appreciate how you mention parts about how most news was censored and that explains why so many Germans were surprised that the war was lost. Sometimes I can't help but think that it might've been better if Germany had won the First World War, that way history could've possibly taken a different turn, steering away from the Nazi party and WWII. Besides, even the winners didn't gain much in the First World War.
