There's a sort of sadness lingering in today's comical sphere of entertainment in America for, as in other sphere's of American entertainment, we have this gross cultural obsession with political correctness to the point to where everyone must be held accountable or called out for dealing an offensive gag or joke. Of course, it is definitely not the first time--it's been happening for quite a while. Only now, it is more abundant, and more pathetic. There is no telling how much good comedy is being sacrificed to maintain modern society's views of 'decency'.
