Okay, admittedly I am ignorant, inasmuch as that I do not follow todays trends all that well because I consider most social movements today to be a joke and I can't take them seriously, however well-meaning or determined they may be. The actor Robbie Coltrane who played Hagrid defended her and if you wish to read his statements, then that is how I feel personally. And that is why I do not take seriously most social movements because it seems like people are more ready to be offended and make backlashes than to actually be progressive. Also, Eddie Izzard defended her and (she) is gender and Izzard's comments on the matter also reflect my views. I wonder if you understand where I coming from, if you really comprehend the basis of my input in all of this. To me, it is not a matter of being transgender or whatever; it is about free speech and there not being any consequences unless it is strictly discrimination or something that provokes violence (which many interpret Rowling's words as being so). I feel like in this case and conversing with you, it is demanded and only demanded that one be compliant, and that is it. Again, yes, I am ignorant about transgender people and what they go through, I'll honestly admit that. But again, to me, it is not about debating transgenderism as it is about debating in general.
