No, not really. According to your logic then, cops are not the only bastards, but there are plenty of them out there in other professions. Why not say that all employees of pharmaceutical companies are bastards because they work for a system that is outrageously expensive in regards to unaffordable healthcare; why not say that all NBA players are bastards because they play within a league that supports Nike, which uses child labor in China to make their product; why not say all journalists are bastards because our present day mainstream media is so corrupt; why not say all Hollywood executives are bastards because of Harvey Weinstein; why not say all IRS agents and tax collectors are bastards because of outrageous taxes? If that's the case, then over 75% of America's workforce are a bunch of bastards.

And don't think it's humble of you to call yourself a bastard if you were a cop, because it isn't.
