Listen, you know damn well that an unsecure border is not a healthy factor for any country. It is not about anti-immigration (which I am certainly not, as you seem to erroneously indicate). But I guess it's just too goddamn politically incorrect these days to say "Hey, you're welcome in this country, but you need to go through the traditional means of gaining citizenship." Can't say "hey, an unsecured border is playing a factor in the rise in narcotics cases in our country," as that would be rather xenophobic, as if to indicate that all peoples coming through the southern border are no good, drug-toting, trigger happy, pimping mongrels. Eh, well, it's just too damn bad.
