It strikes me as bizaare that Calvinists, being professed Christians, or self-professed Christians, have a negative attitude toward helping the poor when the individual they worship emphasized fiercely in all of his teachings is to help the poor. If that is how they view people who help the poor, then what are they to think of that man who is the Son of God?
