I have to disagree, there definitely is a race card, but not in the particular sense in which people normally apply it to. It is employed by some people of color who wish to take advantage of the situation, usually when things are not going in their favor or they find themselves on the deep end of things, be it being in trouble or having trouble. Worse yet, these particular people of color who like to use this tactic are even more willing to use it now, as the topic of race and racism is all the more controversial and everyone's response to it is over reactionary.
