I have only seen pieces of the film on YouTube and unlike most contemporary action movies, I am intrigued into really wanting to see it. However, I think your analysis of the film is good regardless of my limited viewing of it. I wonder if I will come out from seeing it and thinking about the exact things that you are saying. Is it a film where thr violence is pointless but is originally intended not to have a point in the first place? You say that it is full of unjustified violence and that the message is violence is the ultimate answer. But what if there was never meant to be any justification in the first place nor was there any intention of sending a message? I will admit that it is a cheap movie with little depth, it being kinda like a Seth Rogen movie but instead of using filthy humor for the sake of filthy humor, it is violence.
