I find it funny, let alone very telling, as to how reactionary everyone is towards this piece. They say you're missing the whole point and that you are undermining the Atlantic Slave Trade but from my perspective, you're just pointing out something not many people know about in modernity. Of course, I guess I'm a racist for expressing sympathy towards you and this piece, but it is funny how certain elements of the black community are always willing to address how cruel white people have been to them in the past but never really consider much about how black people have done likewise unto other black people. That's not undermining the cruel legacy that the white man has inflicted on the black man. It's just another page in history to be revealed and discussed that, quite frankly, is not talked about that often. Good article, good read.
