I am very happy with your progress and I do not wish to dispirit you in saying this, but this is just a warning to reinforce some self-awareness and caution. Addiction is like tuberculosis of the mind; that is, you cannot completely get rid of it. You cannot permanently escape it. You can live your life happily and fulfillingly by following a recovery path that helps keep your illness in check and that sustains you in a way that you can live life in peace and happiness. But the pathology of addiction, sad as it is, never completely goes away.
