I am saying that part of why Disney is making remakes is, aside from mere profit, on tokenism's behalf. I'm not saying it's wrong because they're making her black; I'm saying that making her so on black tokenism's behalf is what is irritating. It's superficial; it's a publicity stunt; and the thing is, because it is happening so much and too often, it is now very easy to distinguish. It's so far from subtle.

I am bigoted...towards tokenism. It is, to put it nicely, the kiss-ass coordinator in social relations and, as Holden Caufield would say, makes those behind nothing but a bunch of phonies.
