I am perplexed by this...I don't understand it and I don't know if I ever will. The conservative commentator Ben Shapiro of "The Daily Wire" brought up a good question when Ellen became Elliot. Ellen was a lesbian...so now, is she (or he) straight? To me, it is very bizarre why people do this sort of thing. What is the point? Is it not in actuality self-negating that one denies their biological sex and adapts a new label that in fact belongs to the opposite sex?

If people can do this with biological sex, then I wonder if one could do the same with their skin color. Black and White (skin color) is just an abstract concept, there is no objective underlying to their being so; black and white are just social terms and don't really exist; hence, as of today, I am a black man (despite being born Caucasian); and maybe in addition, I can have skin color reassignment surgery to seal the deal.
