Great article! I like how you've managed, like a few other historical writers on Medium, have the ability to keep a complex historical event in simple terms to allow for easy reading. I have heard of this battle before but only momentarily. From the way you've made out the fortifications of the city, it seems to have been better fortified than Berlin. Or am I wrong in presuming this?
