Being British was not a sin in the eyes of the Nazis in the way they perceived being Jewish was a sin, though one could make the case that to be British was a sin only because they were an enemy. But Hitler very sincerely did not wish to go to war with Britain. He felt that the UK was a group of people that were a part of or alongside the Aryan people.
