And that's all very well, but despite believing that regulation is a sound approach, the total cancellation of the right to own an assault weapon, let alone guns period, is out of the question. Everyone's a good person until they're not...but if that is your logic then we'd have to look at other things in society that are seen as potential hazards to others, simply because an individual decided to use them for evil purposes.

As an individual with an interest in firearms, I have a right to own one. It's as simple as that.
