…authorities ruled his death was suicide by poem.
And the religious leaders of the community and common populace, upon hearing this, stated: “He is now with Tomino.”
That is why another Japanese poet, Dokusō Tekidenai, wrote a follow-up to Yaso’s poem called “Tomino’s Victim.”
And anyone who reads “Tomino’s Victim” will surely die.
