Actually, what Bill Mahers said needed to be said and I for one am glad to see a man who is an all-out liberal actually have a good dose of rationality and to call out the BS on those who are further left that constantly complain and whine. He mentioned the people who say crap like: "America is irredeemably racist. America is an oppressive country. America sucks!" Sure, we've got our problems over here but as Maher stated (and I agree with him entirely on this) whereas Republicans/Conservatives overrate this country, Democrats/Liberals are highly underrating America, and it is this latter group that is far worse than the former...as well as perhaps a bit more pathetic. Seriously, a lot of people, especially of my not-so-glorious Generation Z and Millenials, do not know how good they have it. But they are more like Generation B--B as in Bitch because that's all they do. I feel like you do not do Maher's statements any justice and in the end, nor do you grant yourself any credibility because never once did Bill Maher said that everything in America is great or that nothin' needs fixin'. What he is saying is that he wishes to remind people who completely demonize this country to the most ridiculous degree should really just stop for a moment and look at what all is happening in other parts of the world, and what better example than Afghanistan?
